At the heart of this interactive web site is a rich and deeply documented research base. This base consists of legal documents, newspaper articles, photographs and postcards. They present the spatial and material world and reflect the economy, society, politics, and culture in which all the key players in this drama lived and worked. We hope this archive will help the reader imagine what it was like to live and work in Lincoln, Nebraska in the 1890s.
